We have to admit that we really don't understand exactly what “Toy Candles” are. It doesn't really matter, since this is just an empty box for decorative use. Regardless, this is a really neat item. The wooden box has the aforementioned “Toy Candles” advertisement decoupaged on the front, depicting children decorating their tree with lit candles. It really is too bad that tradition has faded away. The box is well made, with dovetail style joints and a working top that slides open. Perfect as a stand alone decoration, or use it as gift box.
